Many women experience this.
Often it simply means the nervous system has not yet learned that emotional energy can move safely.
And this is something the body can learn.

For many years my emotional life felt intense and difficult to navigate.
Certain emotions would stay with me for days or even weeks.
I tried to understand everything with my mind.
I analyzed my feelings and searched for answers.
But something important was missing.
During a trauma-informed training for yoga teachers I discovered something that changed my relationship with emotions completely.
Emotions are energy moving through the body.
When I began practicing simple methods that allow emotional energy to move and release through the body, something surprising happened.
The intensity softened.
The body relaxed.
The story lost its grip.
Little by little my nervous system learned something new:
It is safe to feel.
Over time my relationship with emotions changed.
Instead of being trapped inside emotional storms, emotions began to move more naturally.
This discovery became the foundation of Emotional Body Alchemy.

A Different Way to Understand Emotions
Many approaches try to solve emotions through thinking and analysis.
But emotions do not live primarily in the mind.
They live in the body.
Emotions are energy moving through the nervous system.
When emotional energy cannot move freely, it may become trapped.
Sometimes this appears as emotional overwhelm.
Sometimes it appears as emotional numbness.
Both are simply ways the nervous system tries to protect us.
When the body learns how to safely release emotional energy, something beautiful happens.
The nervous system begins to reorganize.
Safety returns.
Emotions begin to move naturally again.
What You Will Learn
During this journey you will learn how to work with emotional energy where it actually lives — in the body.
In Emotional Body Alchemy you will learn how to:

What to do somatically for sudden shock or resurfaced trauma?
